Since 1984 the sculptures of Nicolas LAVARENNE are shown all around the world and make part of private and public collections of art-lovers, whose requirements have not been deceived.....Urban installations succeed to enable a very large public to appreciate his work. Nicolas Lavarenne takes a major place in my choice and I have the feeling I transmit my passion to many visitors of St. Paul de Vence, where his sculptures are represented permanently.
Marc Massa opens to the public his foundry where the sculpting artists of the region and all the Europe regularly work... Marc is a talented artist who not only gives life to the works of the other creators, but knows how to innovate constantly in...
I learned that a few new pieces were born this winter under the fingers of Nicolas Lavarenne in the calm of his workshop... the secret is well kept but you will of course the scoop of their discovery at their final patina...
LAVARENNE Petit...
A breath of fresh air and mischievous happiness crosses the theater of his canvas while each painting takes us back to the land of childhood and comic strips .... Magic of the brush, facetious mind. Anton speaks the universal language of our love for life .... he invites you to join the ring and let your mind dance while observing a goldfish, play leapfrog or off-ground tag .... Be careful, you just leaped on a "trottinette" to meet up with the artist and you'll soon find yourself projecting the same gestures, familiar or unusual ! Back to reality : A highly talented and fully accomplished artist ! Welcome to Anton's wonderful ring of happiness !

A child's spirit, a great talent, those two words could resume the skill of this self-taught artist born in 1944. He paints his lifestyle, serene, sensitive, away from the hustle and bustle of high-life. Uneven and muffled texture in various shades of grey, blue, red, pink beat the tempo of an unambiguous stroke giving life to delightful characters who recently jumped out of their canvas to be set into bronze sculptures bearing their familiar gestures.
Always in two dimensions, of cabriole in pun, Anton keeps the lucidity of the child in the game, juggling with the illusions and the real one. Without naivety, without nostalgia. This innocent recreational paradise, he recreates it as he pleases,...
Jean-Claude ALLENBACH was born on 17. July 1947 in Colmar, Alsace. To our deepest regret he passed away before his sixtiest birthday. He became a painter in 1972 after discovering the beauty of Provence, where he stayed frequently. Landscape-painter and colourist, his palette is dominated by the brightness of the warm colours of mediterranean sceneries, filled with sunshine. He preferred oil paintings and lithographies, that were regularly shown in France, Japan and Switzerland. Many art-collectors are happy they choose his works and personally I own some master pieces.

His paintings are singular...the artist’s eye excels in the art of capturing the essential. Without going as far as abstraction, Allenbach initiates us to discover very synthesized landscapes and flowers, where nevertheless no element is missing. The blending of colours is marvellously organized and his touch so well controlled, that there is no place for doubt. We are immediately captured by his world of reassuring and fascinating serenity. I appreciated contemplating his works silently in his company, when he gave me the honour of a visit at Saint Paul... Frequent exhibitions have been organized in his presence (see events).

Indefatigable creator, a real tussle with substance, passionated by constant research in sculpture-mastery... Wohlfahrt creates strange, confusing figures, that do not leave us unaffected.
An inventor. Using materials hidden inside data-processing machines, electric and electronic articles, Tassou defines his work by the concept “cybertrash”. Works consisting of wall or three dimensional sculptures, totems. Unique pieces, that tell the memory of a technology damned to obsolescence right at the origin.
Real genuine goldsmith of electronic components, Tassou found an important place in my gallery, next to artists he appreciates and together with them sometimes he composes very unusual and original pieces, that he calles “revisitations”.
